SAN ANTONIO<\/strong> \u2013 April 8, 2021<\/strong> \u2013 Rackspace Technology<\/a>\u00ae <\/u>(NASDAQ: RXT), a leading end-to-end, multicloud technology solutions company, announced today its relationship with Brave<\/a> Software <\/u>which provides a free, open-source private and secure web browser for PC, Mac, and mobile environments.<\/p>\n

Brave gives users a fast and private web experience, helps advertisers achieve better conversions and increases publishers\u2019 revenue share. “Its machine learning functionality helps to match advertisements in the Brave Ads content categories for which Brave users would have the most interest, while preserving user privacy<\/p>\n

Brave worked with AWS Premier Consulting Partner, Onica, a Rackspace Technology company, to improve the scalability of Brave\u2019s software, increased the team\u2019s efficiency, and reduced infrastructure costs by 50 percent. Rackspace Technology used a wide range of AWS services to build cloud infrastructure tailored to Brave\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n

Once on AWS cloud, Rackspace Technology made critical improvements in automating Brave\u2019s machine learning processes, employing MLOps Foundations to provide an architecture pattern for Brave. These cloud-based data pipelines provided a consistent structure for machine learning development, training and deployment, accelerating the process of publishing new models from several days to several hours.           <\/p>\n

Before working with Rackspace Technology, Brave\u2019s processes for training and deploying machine learning models were slower, involving manual steps spanning several days. Brave needed a more robust pipeline and fully automated processes.<\/p>\n
