The newly created role further highlights the importance of the region for the technology services company as it continues to invest locally
Amsterdam – 6 May 2020 – Rackspace, the technology services company, has today announced the promotion of Bert Stam to General Manager for Netherlands and Nordics. The newly created role comes as the company announces its ambition to double the size of the business in the next three years.
Fundamental to this ambition will be investment across the Netherlands and Nordics region. The investment will primarily focus on the continuous growth of Professional Services which expanded significantly in 2019. Rackspace will continue to recruit within the team in 2020 to meet the high demand of its consultancy expertise.
“The growth in our local Professional Services team has allowed us to support customers in region better than ever before with on the ground experts,” said Stam. “We doubled the number of team members last year and will continue to meet demand this year through further enhancements to the core local team.”
“Cloud technology is experiencing continuous growth across a number of industries in the Netherlands and Nordics. We are able to support businesses as every stage in their cloud journey with unbiased expertise.”
