DevOps describes practices for bringing development and operations together; platform engineering applies those practices through reusable platforms and automation that teams can use consistently. 

Rackspace supports AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Rackspace Private Cloud, along with Kubernetes across cloud and on-premises environments. We work with tools and frameworks such as Backstage, Terraform and Crossplane, commercial developer platforms and existing customer tooling.

A Rackspace Elastic Engineering pod is a dedicated, multidisciplinary team that can include an engagement manager, cloud architects and engineers working in sprints alongside your team. Flexible service tiers let you scale engineering capacity as requirements change.
