Rackspace provides managed services across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Rackspace Private Cloud and customer on-premises infrastructure, individually or as part of a hybrid environment.
What is Rackspace Elastic Engineering?
Rackspace Elastic Engineering gives you a dedicated, multidisciplinary pod that works within your environment across infrastructure, DevOps, data, security and applications. Capacity flexes with your priorities while the team and its knowledge of your environment remain consistent.
How does Rackspace use AI in managed operations?
The Rackspace AI Ops Platform correlates and enriches alerts, traces root causes across dependent systems, maintains runbooks from successful resolutions and automates routine remediation. Rule-based workflows run by default, while AI-driven workflows operate within policy guardrails, approval gates and human-in-the-loop controls.
Can AI take actions in our environment on its own?
Only within the boundaries you define. Access is read-only by default, automation scope is customer-defined and actions outside that scope route to a person for approval.
Is customer data used to train AI models?
No. Customer data is not used to train AI models. Each customer operates in a separate, isolated tenant, and the platform architecture has been reviewed by the Rackspace security team.
Is the Rackspace AI Ops Platform an additional cost?
No. It is included as part of the standard Rackspace managed services setup.
Can Rackspace co-manage an environment with our internal IT team?
Yes. Rackspace supports fully managed and co-managed models. Many customers retain architecture and application ownership while Rackspace handles day-to-day operations, with responsibilities defined up front and managed through a shared workflow.
Does Rackspace manage environments for regulated industries?
